Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe by Jonathan Christenson performed by the Musical Theatre Class
Join us for a night of three one-act performances featuring the talents of our Advanced Acting, Musical Theatre, and Advanced Technical Theatre students!
Our Advanced Acting classes will present two student-directed one-acts based on classic Edgar Allan Poe stories: The Masque of the Red Death and The Tell-Tale Heart, adapted by Lindsay Price from Shuddersome: Tales of Poe.
The Musical Theatre class will follow with Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe by Jonathan Christenson, a haunting musical that explores the life, loves, and mysterious death of one of America’s most celebrated writers.
The evening also features scenic, lighting, costume, and technical designs created with the support of students enrolled in our Advanced Technical Theatre class.
Come experience an evening of suspense, storytelling, music, and mystery, all inspired by the dark imagination of Edgar Allan Poe.
